‘Les Miserables’ returns to San Diego this summer as part of the musical electric tour. This tour de force musical from Boublil and Schonberg will stage a week-long run at the Civic Theatre from May 29 to June 3, 2018.
‘Les Miserables’ never fails to impress, ever after more than 30 years of performing to sold-out crowds, earning rave reviews worldwide. This new reboot of the Broadway classical masterpiece boasts of a reinvigorated score and grittier storytelling that will surely keep audiences hanging on to the edge of their seats. Their sights will be constantly glued to the stage as well with the paintings of Victor Hugo marvelously translating onstage as the new and inspiring scenic designs proudly featured in this production; the vivid and stimulating scenery, coupled with the rousing music highlights this musical’s greatest strength – a story that celebrates the dreamer, the brave and the survivor in each of us; a story so universal, everyone should definitely see it and learn a thing or two from it.
