A hauntingly beautiful story of love, mystery, and passion is in store for Jacksonville this February. The Phantom of the Opera, the spectacularly magnificent new production of one of the most beloved musicals of all time, is the Valentine month offering of the 2015-2016 FSCJ Artist Series Broadway in Jacksonville. Opening on February 10, 2016, The Phantom of the Opera takes over the Moran Theater stage until February 21, 2016.
From its sold out and sensational UK tour, The Phantom of the Opera makes its way to Jacksonville as part of its all new North American Tour. Cameron Mackintosh’s exciting new production of the phenomenal musical success from Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Phantom of the Opera retells the story of Christine, the beautiful soprano who is the fast-rising star of the Paris Opera House, and of the mysterious musical genius who haunts the opera house. With magnificent costumes, amazing special effects, and beloved score, The Phantom of the Opera also features new scenic designs and new choreography.
Behold one of the grandest musical productions currently on tour as The Phantom of the Opera opens at the Moran Theater on February 10 (Wednesday) at 7:30 PM. The regular shows are at 7:30 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM on Thursdays, at 8 PM on Fridays, at 2 PM and 8 PM on Saturdays, and at 1:30 PM and 7 PM on Sundays. Each show runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
