Coming to Providence, RI this season, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical unfolds the captivating story of talented songwriter and performer Carole King, revealing a “tapestry” of some of her greatest hits along the way.

Carole King’s journey to fame and stardom began at the early age of just 17. After breaking into the record business with her first hit Will You Love Me Tomorrow, King began writing iconic songs for artists such as: Aretha Franklin, The Monkees or The Shirelles. But her true talent and voice were only brought to the surface as soon as her personal life began to take a turn for the worse.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical is the brain child of the creative team composed by the Tony Award nominee and Academy Award nominated screenwriter Douglas McGrath, director Marc Bruni, while the musical score is led by the famous duo Carole King/ Gerry Goffin, along with Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical recreates countless classics such as: You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman, Take Good Care of my Baby, You’ve Got a Friend, So Far Away, It Might As Well Rain Until September, Up on the Roof, and Locomotion.
