Beauty and the Beast Birmingham | BJCC Concert Hall

It’s a tale as old as time of a beautiful young woman who stands up to and falls in love with the lonely Beast. Disney’s adaptation of the classic fairy tale has delighted audiences all over the world on screen and on stage. Now is your chance to see Belle tame the Beast’s heart for two days only at Birmingham’s BJCC Concert Hall.

Life in a provincial town in France does not suit Belle who dreams of a life of adventure, like in the books she loves to read while her father tinkers away at his inventions. And when her beloved father is taken prisoner by a Beast living in a magical palace in the forest, Belle does not hesitate to offer herself in exchange for her father’s freedom. Although his prisoner, Belle is free to roam most areas of the Beast’s estate and even befriend his servants who have taken the forms of various furniture. Eventually, Belle sees past the Beast’s gruff and harsh exterior into his very heart and soul where she sees the true meaning of love.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast has been a family favorite for decades. Take the kids to see the show stopping numbers and lavish sets and costumes that seem to be lifter right out of the animated movie when the musical comes to Birmingham on October 25 and 26, 2013. Evening performances will play at 7:30pm on both nights and one afternoon matinee will start at 2:00pm on Saturday.
