‘Beauty and the Beast’, the hit Broadway adaptation of the 1992 Disney blockbuster animated flick of the same title is now on tour and is set to hit the west coast during the last few days of the winter season. It is slated for a week-long engagement at the Keller Auditorium in Portland, OR from December 1 – 6, 2015.
‘Beauty and the Beast’ is the quintessential “love is blind” story, underscored by magical characters taking part in lavish and elaborate production numbers, performing to unforgettable themes such as ‘Belle’, ‘Be Our Guest’ and the iconic titular track. Music and lyrics are from award winning composers Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, while Linda Woolverton penned the stage adaptation. Rob Roth directs this touring production which stars Emily Behny and Dane Agostinis as Belle and the princely Beast respectively.
