Book of Mormon Baltimore | Hippodrome Theatre

Book of Mormon Baltimore | Hippodrome Theatre

The Hippodrome Theatre of The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center will be home to the mismatched pair of Mormon missionaries who took the theater world by storm! The Book of Mormon, the outrageous and critically-acclaimed musical, has a limited two-week run in Baltimore from November 3, 2015 to November 15, 2015.

Sent to a far-flung Ugandan village controlled by a vicious war lord, the young missionaries find themselves facing difficult challenges as they try to convert the locals to Mormonism. As they contend with the cultural differences, they try to reach out to the locals who are more concerned about poverty, famine, AIDS, and hunger. While they try to succeed in their mission and effect a change in the village, alas, only one of the missionaries knows the scriptures very well.

The weekday shows of The Book of Mormon at the Hippodrome Theatre are at 8 PM from Tuesday to Friday. The Saturday shows are scheduled at 2 PM and 8 PM while the Sunday performances are at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
