Book of Mormon Fort Lauderdale | Broward Center

Fort Lauderdale, welcome the Mormons as they invade the Broward Center for the Performing Arts this fall just in time for Thanksgiving! The four-week run of The Book of Mormon from November 26, 2013 through December 22 is part of the highly anticipated 2013-2014 season of Broadway Across America-Ft Lauderdale.

Assigned to evangelize in a small Ugandan village, two young Mormons discover that their training has not been enough to prepare them for the harsh realities of the wilds of Africa. With only one missionary knowing the scripture, the young missionaries try to convert the poverty-stricken villagers who are forever terrorized by hunger, AIDS, and an iron-fisted local despot. Book of Mormon is the sensational and top-grossing musical parody that earned nine Tony Awards.

Don’t miss the hilariously captivating performances of The Book of Mormon at the Broward Center from Tuesday to Saturday evenings at 8 PM and on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM. Aside from the special matinee show at 2 PM on November 27 (Wednesday), there are also regular 2 PM matinees every Saturday and 1 PM matinees every Sunday.
