‘Book of Mormon’ Heads Home to Salt Lake City in 2014-15 Season

Utah’s Broadway Across America lineup for the 2014-2015 season has been announced, and it is set to bring some of Broadway’s best and brightest productions to Salt Lake City. Among them is the comedic musical hit The Book of Mormon which will play a limited two week engagement July 28 – August 9, 2015.

Broadway Across America-Utah President John Ballard shared in a statement, “This is one of the most exciting line-ups in the thirty years we have been bringing national tours of Broadway musicals to Salt Lake. Season tickets holders will enjoy an extraordinary season of Broadway and will also be first in line to secure seats at the spectacular new Performing Arts Center which is now under construction.”

Return engagements of A Kurt Bestor Christmas (December 18-20, 2014 at Abravanel Hall), Alton Brown (February 28, 2015 at Capitol Theatre), Beauty and the Beast (January 30- February 1, 2015 at Kingsbury Hall), and Mamma Mia! (March 13-15 at Kingsbury Hall) are all being offered as season add-ons.

The season will also include eight time Tony Award winner Once (April 7-12, 2015), two time Tony Award winner Nice Work If You Can Get It (September 23-28, 2014), straight from the Broadway stage The Illusionists (June 23-28, 2015), and family holiday favorite How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical (November 18-23, 2014).

Current season ticketholders are able to being renewing their season subscription. New season ticket orders will begin Monday, March 24 at 9am. Packages start at a price of $158.25. Single tickets for individual shows will be made available at a later time.
