SHN Orpheum Theatre will be hosting the Tony Award winning musical ‘The Book of Mormon’ for its return to San Francisco from April 15 to June 27, 2015.
The critics and fans have all spoken, ‘The Book of Mormon’ is the “funniest” (Vogue) and the “best” (The New York Times) musical to hit Broadway in years. A groundbreaking parody about Mormonism, the musical relies heavily on satire to deliver a hilarious yet witty production, the elements of which may remind many of TV’s ‘South Park’ and Broadway’s ‘Avenue Q’, as this musical is the brainchild of Emmy winners Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and Tony Award winner Robert Lopez. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
