Book of Mormon Tampa | Stratz Center for the Performing Arts

Something outrageously exciting is coming to Tampa this winter! Book of Mormon, the multi-awarded Broadway musical, has a two-week engagement at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts’ Carol Morsani Hall from December 5 to 10, 2017.

Book of Mormon, lauded by the New York Times as this century’s best musical, is an audacious satire from the inimitable South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker. In this religious satire musical, two Mormon missionaries are sent to evangelize in a remote Ugandan village ruled by a brutal warlord. With naiveté and optimism, the two missionaries try to connect with the locals who are more concerned with famine, poverty, AIDS, and war than with religion.

Catch the nightly shows of Book of Mormon at the Carol Morsani Hall at 7:30 PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; at 8 PM every Friday and Saturday; and at 7:30 PM every Sunday. The matinee shows are scheduled at 2 PM every Saturday and Sunday.
