Bullets Over Broadway Philadelphia | Academy of Music

Bullets Over Broadway Philadelphia | Academy of Music

Pretty showgirls and burly mobsters dance their way to Philadelphia this fall! Bullets Over Broadway, the delightful and hit stage musical version of Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath’s acclaimed film, joins the blockbuster 2015-2016 season of Broadway Philadelphia. Opening on October 27, 2015, Bullets Over Broadway takes over the Academy of Music stage for eight performances only until November 1, 2015.

Featuring the original choreography and direction by Susan Stroman, Bullets Over Broadway takes its audience to a sneak peek behind the scenes on how shows are made on the Great White Way. Written by Woody Allen, Bullets Over Broadway follows a young playwright who desperately wants to see his play performed on Broadway stage. A mob boss extends an offer he can’t possibly refuse: financial backing for his play in exchange for casting the mobster’s talent-less and ditsy showgirl girlfriend in the show. Bullets Over Broadway is the hilarious extravaganza that Philadelphia theatergoers should not miss this fall!

Join the excitement as Bullets Over Broadway plays the Academy of Music on October 27 to 29 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on October 30 (Friday) at 8 PM, on October 31 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on November 1 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. With an intermission, the run time of Bullets Over Broadway is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
