Cabaret Baltimore | The Hippodrome Theatre

This spring, follow your heart even when the whole world loses its way. Cabaret, the Tony Award winning production from Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall of the acclaimed and beloved Broadway classic, is part of the blockbuster CareFirst Hippodrome Broadway Series. Opening on April 26, 2016, Cabaret plays The Hippodrome Theatre for a limited engagement only until May 1, 2016.

It’s the late 1930s when a young American writer embarks in Berlin in search for inspiration. He gets a taste of the city’s decadent nightlife when he sets foot into the infamous Kit Kat Klub where he meets the alluring Sally, one of the bar’s star performers. Set in pre-war Germany, Cabaret entices the crowd to leave the world’s troubles outside the door and to savor the tantalizing cabaret life. Inspired by Christopher Isherwood’s stories, Cabaret features John Kander and Fred Ebb’s celebrated musical score. This exciting production is part of the 50th Anniversary Season of the acclaimed Roundabout Theatre Company.

Experience the decadence and allure of cabaret life as Cabaret takes center stage at The Hippodrome Theatre at 8 PM on April 26 to 29 (Tuesday to Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on April 30 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on May 1 (Sunday). With a 15-minute intermission, Cabaret plays for 150 minutes.
