Chicago Madison | Overture Center for the Arts

A sizzling hot musical is on its way to Madison to open the exciting 2013/14 Broadway at Overture Series! Chicago, the award-winning revival of the Broadway classic from Fred Ebb and John Kander, has an 8-performance engagement at the Overture Center for the Arts on October 1 to 6, 2013.

Chicago is set in the 1920s during the jazz era and tells the tale of two murderesses (Velma and Roxy) who claw and scheme for their respective splashy stage comebacks while imprisoned at the Cook County Jail. With the help of their lawyer (Billy Flynn) and the prison matron (Mama Morton), Velma and Roxy spur a media frenzy that sensationalizes their respective murder cases.

Revel in all that jazz as Chicago plays at the Overture Center for the Arts at 7:30 PM on October 1 to 3 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on October 4 (Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on October 5 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on October 6 (Sunday).
