The 2014-2015 season of Broadway in Durham proudly presents one of the biggest hits from the Great White Way! Dirty Dancing, the phenomenal musical adapted from the hit film of the same name, will be in Durham this fall. Opening on September 16, 2014, Dirty Dancing will set fire to the Durham Performing Arts Center stage until September 21.

Since its very successful 2004 Australia premiere, Dirty Dancing has been captivating theatergoers and breaking box office records globally. Inspired by the sensational hit Patrick Swayze movie, Dirty Dancing gives new life to the memorable love story of Johnny Castle and Baby Houseman on stage. Set in the summer of 1963 in New York, Johnny and Baby meet in a resort in the Catskill Mountains and experience the most unforgettable and life-changing summer of their lives.

This fall, dance like never before and catch Dirty Dancing as it takes center stage at the Durham Performing Arts Center on September 16 to 18 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on September 19 (Friday) at 2 PM, on September 20 (Saturday) at 8 PM, and on September (Sunday) 21 at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. The running time of Dirty Dancing is 2 hours and 30 minutes with one intermission.
