Dirty Dancing Louisville | The Kentucky Center

Dirty Dancing Louisville | The Kentucky Center

It’s time for some serious dancing! Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage, the record-breaking and stunning live theater sensation based on the phenomenal movie of the same name, is part of PNC Broadway in Louisville’s exciting 2015-2016 season. Opening on October 13, 2015, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story sets fire to The Kentucky Center stage until October 18, 2015.

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story is an unprecedented live experience that breathes life anew to the unforgettable love story of Johnny Castle and Baby Houseman. Meeting in a posh Catskill Mountains resort on the summer of 1969, dance instructor Johnny introduces socialite Baby to the exciting and alluring world of sexy dancing. Fiercely independent spirits from two very different worlds, Johnny and Baby experience one of the most challenging and, definitely, one of the most triumphant summers of their young lives. With book by Eleanor Bergstein and choreography by Michele Lynch, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story is directed by James Powell.

Don’t miss the chance to have the time of your life as Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story takes center stage at The Kentucky Center on October 13 to 15 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on October 16 (Friday) at 8 PM, on October 17 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on October 18 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. With one intermission, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story runs for 150 minutes.
