Disney Artist Dreams of ‘Wicked’ Characters in Animation

Minkyu Lee recently revealed on his blog sketches based on a possible animated version of the Broadway phenomenon Wicked. The Wicked concept drawings were originally created by Lee while he was studying at CalArts and serving as an intern for Disney.

Lee is an animator and visual development artist for Disney whose credits include The Princess and the Frog as well as the recently released animated film Frozen. His additional credits include director of the Oscar-nominated short film Adam and Dog of which he also wrote and animated.
