Ed, Downloaded Denver | Ricketson Theatre

The wait is over! The 2013 Colorado Play Summit features the world premiere of” Ed, Downloaded,” the much-anticipated theatrical production from Michael Mitnick. “Ed, Downloaded” runs at the Ricketson Theatre from January 11, 2013 to February 17, 2013.

Read at last year’s Colorado Play Summit, “Ed, Downloaded” is now slated to come alive on the Ricketson Theatre stage. This production from Michael Mitnick combines both live action and the feel of a feature film. An intriguing marriage of film and theatre, “Ed, Downloaded” is the story of Ed, a dying man who is given a rare chance at immortality. Ed has his brain, in a way, downloaded and he is allowed to take ten memories into eternity. However, when Ed’s wife discovers about it, she intervenes. “Ed, Downloaded” tackles the themes of immortality and desire in this age of humankind’s dependence on technology.

“Ed, Downloaded” plays nightly at the Ricketson Theatre at 6:30 PM from Tuesday to Thursday and at 7:30 PM from Friday to Saturday. There also matinee performances scheduled at 1:30 PM every Saturday and Sunday.
