Emmanuelle Chriqui Joins Cast of ‘Love, Loss and What I Wore’

On Sunday’s installment of Entourage, Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) drops the bombshell on E (Kevin Connolly) that she’s moving to New York which seemingly puts the nail in the coffin of their on-again, off-again relationship. What she didn’t bother to mention is she’s jumping a plane to the east coast to star in ‘Love, Loss and What I Wore’ Off-Broadway. In a comical turn of life imitating art, Emmanuelle Chriqui will join the cast with fellow new comer Roslyn Ruff from August 10 through September 4. The five woman cast also include Marylouise Burke, Yeardley Smith and Ann Harada. The Off-Broadway production has drawn such star actresses as Minka Kelly, Kristen Wiig and Kristin Chenoweth.

Nora and Delia Ephron’s ‘Love, Loss and What I Wore’ uses clothing and accessories to tell the stories that weaves the fabric of these women’s lives. The play debuted in 2009, and it currently plays at the Westside Theatre. It won the Drama Desk Award in 2010 for Unique Theatrical Experience and Broadway.com’s Audience Award for Favorite New Off-Broadway Play the same year. It has already visited eight countries and is set to embark on a national tour in late-2011, launching in Chicago.

Entering its eighth and final season, the Mark Wahlberg produced series ‘Entourage’ has already wrapped shooting for the season. As we untwist the final plot developments, news of ‘Entourage the movie’ are already beginning to form. Chriqui confirmed as much in her recent appearance on ‘Fox and Friends.’ ‘Entourage’ has definitely lost some of its mojo in recent seasons with Vince falling on hard times and the whole loose cannon season, but it is good that the show’s producers are wrapping things up while there is still something worth wrapping. The biggest loss will be missing our regular dose of Sloan. Emmanuelle Chriqui is unquestionably in the upper echelon of television’s hottest ladies.
