Eva Peron visits Washington DC this fall! Evita, the blockbuster and Tony-winning musical inspired by the extraordinary life of one of the most powerful women in the world, runs at the Kennedy Center’s Opera House from September 30 to October 19, 2014.

Chronicling Eva Peron’s incredible journey from the slums to Argentina’s seat of power as its charismatic First Lady, Evita features Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s exceptional score that includes beautiful songs like “High Flying Adored,” “Another Suitcase In Another Hall,” “You Must Love Me,” and the iconic “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.” Choreographed by Rob Ashford and directed by Michael Grandage, Evita has been hailed by The New York Post as “a modern masterpiece.”

Catch the captivating Evita performances at the Opera House from Tuesday to Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM and the 1:30 PM matinees every Saturday and Sunday. Each Evita performance runs for 2 hours and 25 minutes inclusive of one intermission.
