Mark your calendars because it’s a date! First Date, the delightful new comedy musical all the way from the Great White Way, will be part of the stellar 2015-2016 season of PNC Broadway Lights. Opening on September 27, 2016, First Date plays the Booth Playhouse at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center for nine weeks until November 20, 2016.

What are the chances we take to find love? Aaron, a newbie in the blind dating scene, is set up to meet with Casey, a serial dater, for a casual drink in a busy restaurant. As their blind date unfolds, the mismatched pair wonders if they their date can lead to something more or if they are headed to a dating disaster. In an unexpected and delightful twist, the other patrons in the restaurant transform into Aaron and Casey’s protective parents, manipulative exes, and supportive best friends who personify the couple’s inner critics. With book by Austin Winsberg, First Date features musical score by Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary.

Find out if Aaron and Casey are perfect for each other as First Date takes center stage at the Booth Playhouse at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays through Thursdays, at 8 PM on Fridays, at 2 PM and 8 PM on Saturdays, and at 1:30 PM and 7 PM. The performance time of First Date is 1 hour and 30 minutes with no intermission.
