The full cast of the 2013-14 tour of Mamma Mia! has been announced by producers recently. Georgia Kate Haege, Chelsea Williams, and Chris Stevens will lead the cast of 30 in the roles of Donna Sheridan, Sophie Sheridan, and Sky (Sophie’s fiancé), respectively.

Additional members of the cast include Gabrielle Mirabella as Tanya and Carly Sakolove as Rosie (Donna’s best friends), as well as Sophie’s possible fathers Michael Colavolpe as Bill Austin, Mark A. Harmon as Harry Bright, and Don Winsor as Sam Carmichael. Sophie and Sky’s best friends are played by Antoinette Comer as Lisa, Kyle Dupree as Eddie, Emily Price as Ali, and Neil Starkenberg as Pepper.

Mamma Mia! tells the story of a carefree mother whose less than spotless past catches up to her as her daughter’s upcoming wedding soon approaches.  The show is produced by Work Light Productions and is directed by Phyllida Lloyd. It features an amazing creative team which includes: Catherine Johnson with writing, Anthony Van Laast with choreography, Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus with music and lyrics, Mark Thompson with production design, Howard Harrison with lighting design, Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken with sound design, and Martin Koch with musical supervision, arrangements, and additional material.

Since its inception, Mamma Mia! has been seen worldwide by more than 50 million people. It is currently celebrating its 12th year on Broadway with more than 4,000 performances which has made it one of Broadway’s top selling musical productions. The original West End production of the show is currently in its 13th year with more than 5,000 performances in London. Additionally, the international tour of the show has made stops in more than 50 cities and has been seen by nearly 4 million people worldwide. A film adaptation of the production which was produced by Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman ranks as the most successful movie musical of all time, grossing $600 million worldwide.
