How the Grinch Stole Christmas Atlanta | Fox Theatre

The classic tale of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, written by Dr. Seuss, will be staged at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta this Yuletide season, from November 29 to December 4, 2011.

A satirical tale about the commercialization of the yearly holiday, the famous Dr. Seuss Christmas tale depicts the Grinch as a monster looking character living in a cave overlooking Whoville, where the merry family of the Whos live. Driven by envy and annoyance, the Grinch comes down to the happy village, steals all the gifts and everything that symbolizes the yearly tradition, till he realizes that Christmas will continue to live on with or without the presents, the ornaments or even a tree.

Bring your entire family along and relive this classic tale that continues to remind us that Christmas is more than a materialistic and commercial celebration of presents and parties. The performance running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.
