How The Grinch Stole Christmas Boston | Wang Theatre

‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical’ comes to Boston for a two-week run at the Wang Theatre at the Citi Performing Arts Center from November 23 to December 9, 2012.

A timeless story based on the eponymous book from Dr. Seuss and the ‘60s TV Christmas special from Chuck Jones, ‘Grinch’ teaches audiences the true meaning and purpose of the holidays; more than the countless presents, it’s a season for sharing, joy, gratitude and warm reunions of families, friends and loved ones. When the wide-eyed Grinch’s heart grows three sizes larger after returning what he stole from the Whos in an effort to stop the coming of Christmas, which he realized was futile, he becomes a believer of the season. The kids will surely love the colorful visuals that are true to both the book and the TV special, while the adults will be captured by the musical’s subtle but profound message on what Christmas truly and should represent: genuine merriness without excessive materialism.

‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical’ will play the Wang Theatre at varying times.
