How the Grinch Stole Christmas Chicago | Cadillac Palace Theatre

How the Grinch Stole Christmas Chicago | Cadillac Palace Theatre

The Grinch is coming to Chicago this fall, not to steal Christmas – well, he’s going to try, but we all know how that worked out for him. Still, the Grinch’s transformation continues to be one of the most fascinating Christmas stories of all time, both for those who have seen and heard it over and over and for first-timers. ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ will be playing the Cadillac Palace Theatre from December 5 to 16, 2012.

Dr. Seuss’ classic Yuletide tale follows the Grinch, a creature who hates anything cheerful and celebratory, and as such his heart is said to be two sizes too small, or it could be the other way around, that because his heart is two sizes too small that he doesn’t have room for anything jolly. Either way, it is his buzz-kill nature that took Christmas away from the Who family, a cheerful clan who loves all the positive and happy things for which the season stands. However, the Grinch learns an important Yuletide lesson that will make his heart grow twice as large and return the gifts and the entire occasion he stole from the fun-loving Whos. The performance running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.
