Lucy is set to dazzle Tucson as she graces the UA Centennial Hall stage for the 2013 – 2014 Broadway in Tucson! I Love Lucy: Live on Stage, the much-anticipated stage adaptation of one of the most iconic television shows in America, has a week-long engagement in Tucson on March 25 to 30, 2014.
It is 1952 and two funny I Love Lucy episodes are being taped at the Desilu Playhouse soundstage. The entertaining host is enlightening its studio audience about the behind the scenes of the filming process before the taping begins. And in between scenes, delight in the 50s-style harmonies of the Crystaltone Singers as they perform live the advertising jingles of I Love Lucy‘s newest sponsors.
Come and join the fun as I Love Lucy: Live on Stage plays at the UA Centennial Hall on March 25 to 27 at 7:30 PM, on March 28 at 8 PM, on March 29 at 2 PM (ASL performance) and 8 PM, and on March 30 at 1 PM and 6:30 PM (Open Caption performance).
