Jersey Boys Memphis | Orpheum Theatre

Jersey Boys Memphis | Orpheum Theatre

‘Jersey Boys’ heads down south to Memphis for a repeat engagement at the Orpheum Theatre this Broadway season, from October 25 to 30, 2016.

Six years since its world premiere, ‘Jersey Boys’ has aligned itself among Broadway’s finest and most beloved masterpieces after bagging Best Musical honors from the Tony and Olivier Awards and Best Show Album from the Grammys. Just like its lead characters, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons whose claim to fame was producing resonating pop hits such as ‘Walk Like a Man’, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, ‘Rag Doll’, ‘Sheree’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and many more, ‘Jersey Boys’ the musical is the toast of theatrical circles, with Time Magazine predicting the show to “run for centuries” and the Chicago Tribune writing it as “the most exciting musical Broadway has seen in years.”

The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.

“Between (and sometimes during the songs), the four members of the band take turns as narrator. And because Jersey Boys the story of a band, all of the songs fit naturally into the show and there’s no random bursting into song.” – Holly Whitfield of I Love Memphis

“I was blown away by JERSEY BOYS at the Orpheum!!! The best show I have seen there!! Wow!” – Valerie Calhoun of Fox 13 TV

“It’s not just that the show, which tells the detailed and often tumultuous story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, is a knock-yer-socks-off hit production. No, the real genius of JERSEY BOYS becomes apparent at the end, when you’re invariably participating in the standing ovation.” – Christopher Blank of Commercial Appeal
