Broadway in Scranton keeps getting bigger and better as the Jersey Boys pave the way for a great season starting in February 2014.

Despite their chart-topping success in the 1960’s, little was known about the men behind the music of the Four Seasons. In the musical, co-written by one of the original band members, Jersey Boys tells for the first time, the origins of the blue-collared boys and even pulls away the curtain to expose their ties with the mob, criminal records, broken marriages, and other scandals that blows the cover off their mainstream, clean cut images. It’s a rags to riches story that, although ends in the eventual breakup of the band, manages to reunite all through the power of their music.

The hits and heartaches all collide in Jersey Boys. Catch it for a very limited time at the Scranton Cultural Center from February 4 through 16, 2014. Showtimes are at 7:30pm for performances on Tuesdays through Thursdays, at 8:00pm for Friday and Saturday shows, and at 6:30pm on Sundays. Afternoon matinees are schedules at 2:00pm on Saturdays, and at 1:00pm on Sundays.
