It may sound too good to be actually true but indeed it is! The national touring production of Jersey Boys will be in Tempe for three weeks for the 2013-2014 season of Progressive Broadway Across America Arizona. Opening on July 22, 2014, Jersey Boys will play the ASU Gammage Auditorium until August 10.
Jersey Boys is the award-winning Broadway musical that tells the musical journey The Four Seasons. Considered to be one of pop music’s biggest success stories, The Four Seasons is the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer group composed of Nick Massi, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Frankie Valli. These boys from New Jersey wrote songs, invented their signature sound, and made it big by having sold more than 175 million records before they reached their 30s.
The Tempe audience definitely won’t take their eyes off the Jersey Boys as it runs at the ASU Gammage on evenings of Tuesday to Saturday at 7:30 PM and on Sunday nights at 6:30 PM. There are also afternoon shows at 2 PM every Saturday and at 1 PM every Sunday.
