The epic Disney and Broadway musical masterpiece, ‘The Lion King’ returns to Fox Cities in celebration of the touring company’s 10th anniversary. Simba and the rest of Pride Rock will play the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center from April 9 to May 5, 2013.
Pave the way for Broadway’s most joyous, most extravagant and most marvelous musical, and not to mention, one of the longest-running shows in the Great White Way. ‘The Lion King’ has constantly left audiences in awe and moved, both with the original film and the theatrical adaptation’s vibrant and spectacular visuals, eye-catching costumes and infectiously groundbreaking scores penned by Elton John that literally transport audiences from their seats to the vastly breathtaking kingdom of Pride Rock.
Show times for ‘The Lion King’ in Appleton are at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Saturdays and 6:30 PM on Sundays (except on May 5). Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturdays and 1 PM on Sundays, with a special matinee on May 2, Thursday at 2 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.
