Lion King Toronto | Princess of Wales Theatre

The Pride Lands come to Toronto with the return of The Lion King at the Princess of Wales Theatre this February 2014. Join Simba, Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa, and the rest of the safari roaming the African Savannah in this award winning production that continues to push the boundaries of musical theatre.

It is a momentous day in the Pride Lands as the future king, Simba, is presented to the African Savannah. But not all creatures are celebrating the birth of Mufasa’s son and heir. Scar and the hyenas, banished to the Shadowlands, plot to overthrow their noble king and send Simba into hiding. The young lion must learn to find courage and what it truly means to be King in this musical based on Disney’s animated film.
