Lord of the Dance Salt Lake City | Kingsbury Hall

Michael Flatley’s ‘Lord of the Dance’ returns to Salt Lake City for one night only at the Kingsbury Hall on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 7:30 PM.

A graceful, intricate and well-thought dance masterpiece from renowned choreographer and visionary Michael Flatley of ‘Riverdance’ fame, ‘Lord of the Dance’ is what every dance production aims to be – artistically conceived and precisely choreographed, depicting a magical Irish folklore, the elements and morals of which are universal, transporting and heartwarming. For those who have seen this 16-year old Irish-American production in the past, this new reboot is packed with a wide array of improvements ranging from new costumes, more enchanting scores, the flawless execution of 40 world-class dancers personally handpicked by Flatley, and the inclusion of a massive LED wall and lighting effects to further highlight the magical, vibrant and unconventional elements for which this production is famous and beloved. As The Los Angeles Times puts is, ‘Lord of the Dance’ is a “show piece extravaganza”.
