A post-Valentine offering from the Hennepin Theatre Trust, Mamma Mia! is back in Minnesota by popular demand. This phenomenal global hit is slated to play at the Orpheum Theatre on February 18 to 23, 2014. Mamma Mia! is the second show of the 2014 series of Broadway Across America in Minneapolis.
When Sophie is set to walk down the aisle, she wants her father to give her away. However, her mother Donna has raised her single-handedly and has never revealed the true identity of her father. Upon unearthing her mother’s diary, Sophie reads about her mother’s relationship with three men, which she believes one of them is her dad. So, aside from sending wedding invitations to her mom’s best friends, she also sends invitations to the three men. Featuring the greatest hits of ABBA, Mamma Mia! is a feel-good musical about love, friendship, and laughter.
Catch the exciting Mamma Mia! shows in Minneapolis at 7:30 PM on February 18 to 20, at 8 PM on February 21 to 22, and at 6:30 PM on February 23, with matinee presentations at 2 PM on April 22 and at 1 PM on April 23.
