Memphis San Antonio | Majestic Theatre

‘Memphis’, the Tony Award winning musical from Joe DiPietro heads further south to welcome spring with a sizzling and sweeping rock n’ roll production you’ll never forget. ‘Memphis’ will play the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX from February 19 to 24, 2013.

A transporting and infectious musical taking audiences to more than fifty years back in time, a time where rock n’ roll music was the freshest thing to hit the airwaves and the civil rights movement was just a thought, ‘Memphis’ is a high-octane production filled with sensational music, revved up choreography and a passionate and romantic tale between a white radio jock and a black aspiring songstress that transcends color, race and class, and is as powerful as the music they sing their hearts and souls to and defy the social mores with.

Show times for ‘Memphis’ in San Antonio are at 8 PM from February 19 to 23 and 7:30 PM on February 24, with weekend matinee performances at 2 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours 30 minutes with one intermission.
