‘Million Dollar Quartet’, the Broadway smash hit chronicling the rare jam session of the golden boys of rock n’ roll is set to sweep St. Louis off its feet from April 23 to May 5, 2013 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
December 4, 1956 was a night to remember in music history when Sam Philips, the Father of Rock n’ Roll rounded up Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis together at Sun Records in Memphis for what initially seemed like a casual get together bound by music and stories. Little did they know that their little bonding moment would create a musical craze and give birth to a one-time and never-before-again musical act, the ‘Million Dollar Quartet’.
