A bunch of bootleggers are on their way to Salt Lake City to officially open the 2014-2015 season of Zions Bank Broadway Across America in Utah! Nice Work If You Can Get It, the brilliant new musical comedy that features a delightful musical score by Ira and George Gershwin, has an eight-performance engagement at the Capitol Theatre from September 23 to 28, 2014.
Jimmy Winter, a wealthy playboy who must marry in order to avoid being disinherited, meets Billie Bendix, a feisty and bubbly bootlegger who captures his heart, on the eve of his wedding. Set during the Roaring Twenties, Nice Work If You Can Get It features Gershwin classics like “Someone To Watch Over Me” and “I’ve Got A Crush On You.”
Don’t miss the hilarious song-and-dance extravaganza that is Nice Work If You Can Get It as it plays the Capitol Theatre on September 23 to 25 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on September 26 (Friday) at 8:00 PM, on September 27 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on September 28 (Sunday) at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
