Broadway’s Oliver is re-imagined in Minneapolis by director, Peter Rothstein. In February 2015, this musical journey will run at the Pantages Theatre.
A starving boy dares to ask for more than his tiny bowl of gruel at the orphanage and ends up being sold for his “misbehavior.” Oliver becomes caught up in the shenanigans of Faniggan, the Artful Dodger, the kind-hearted Nancy, and the generous Mr. Brownlow. Charles Dickens’ classic novel is brought to life on the Pantages stage in this all time favorite British musical by Lionel Bart. Featuring songs that have become part of theater lore such as “As Long As He Needs Me,” and “Where is Love,” Oliver is sure to delight the entire family.
