A spectacular explosion of sound happens in Charlotte this spring! Stomp, the international percussion phenomenon that has been garnering rave reviews and armfuls of awards, joins the Blumenthal Performing Arts’ exciting 2015-2016 Broadway Extras series. Opening on April 5, 2016, Stomp has a limited eight-show engagement at the Knight Theater of the Levine Center for the Arts until April 10, 2016.

An international sensation, Stomp has been captivating audiences worldwide from the stage to television. Inventive, unique, witty, explosive, and provocative, Stomp promises an unforgettable experience for its Charlotte audience of all ages. Its troupe of eight talented performers uses ordinary things and non-conventional percussion instruments to create its extraordinary sound. Using matchboxes, lighters, garbage cans, hubcaps, brooms, and wooden poles, Stomp is the electrifying and pulse pounding show that Charlotte should not miss this spring!

See what the buzz is all about as Stomp takes center stage at the Knight Theater on evenings at 7:30 PM on April 5 to 7 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on April 8 and 9 (Friday and Saturday) and at 6 PM on April 10 (Sunday). The matinee performances are at 4 PM on April 9 (Saturday) and at 2 PM on April 10 (Sunday). The run time of Stomp is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
