This Tony Award winning musical adaptation of the Academy Award winning Disney film is coming to New Orleans this spring for a month-long engagement at the Saenger Theater, from January 4 through 29, 2017.

Accompanying the stunning visuals are Elton John and Time Rice’s grand, rhythmic and soulful scores and tunes. The musical is the ideal combination of visual genius, storytelling mastery and musical perfection, and to say that “there is simply nothing else like it” (The New York Times) is like saying not one superlative in the English vocabulary will suffice to completely describe this exceptional Broadway spectacle.
