Grab a seat and don’t miss this chance to see the spectacular sights and sounds of the African savannah as it is brought to life in the Broadway musical The Lion King. The Orpheum Theatre plays host to this fantastic production as it runs from March 12 through April 7, 2013.

When a tragic accident kills Mufasa, king of the Pride Lands, Simba’s uncle Scar blames him for the death, which forces him to flee and hide from his true destiny. This musical adaptation of Disney’s animated film is truly a theatrical spectacle and will transport you to the African continent through the stagecraft and puppets designed by director, Julie Taymor, who won the Tony award for her work on this breathtaking musical.
