Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas’ brings the holiday cheers to Costa Mesa for the first time with its limited three-week run at the Segerstrom Center.
Adapted from the classic holiday flick of the same name, the musical is a story of two friends who find their better halves while organizing a holiday show in an inn in Vermont. Apart from the warm and energetic musical numbers, dances and dialogues, it won’t be a complete Christmas musical without the element of magic sprinkled onto it. Plus, bask in the Christmas spirit and nostalgia as the show plays Yuletide staples such as ‘White Christmas’, ‘How Deep is the Ocean?’ and ‘Blue Skies’. Bring your entire family or friends or both and experience a genuine Yuletide theatrical celebration with a classical Christmas tale of love, joy and togetherness.
‘White Christmas’ is set to run at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts from December 13, 2011 to January 1, 2012. Show times are at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Saturdays and 6:30 PM on Sundays, with matinee performances at 2 PM on Saturdays and 1 PM on Sundays. Sign language interpretation will be implemented for the matinee performance on December 24, 2011. The performance running time is 2 hours 20 minutes with one intermission.
