Celebrate the yuletide season early with a Broadway classic that’s perfect for the entire family, Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas’.
From December 6 to 18, 2011 at The Hobby Center’s Sarofim Hall in Houston, TX, enjoy this musical that spawned some of our favorite holiday tunes such as ‘Happy Holiday’, ‘Snow’ and the title track. Feel the warmth of the season amidst the chilling snow as this musical tells the story of two actors who put up a holiday show at a Vermont inn, and while showering joy and entertainment among the inn’s guests, they too find their own source of joy after meeting the loves of their lives in the process.
Helmed onstage by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie of ‘Chicago’ fame with choreography from Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner, ‘White Christmas’ not only unfolds as a story of hope and happiness, but also relives Irving Berlin’s finest scores and songs. Come and bring your family or your closest friends to The Hobby Center and have a happy white Christmas. The performance running time is 2 hours 20 minutes with one intermission.
