“The scenery, staging, costumes, and lighting create this show into quite a spectacle. It’s also fun to see how the Wicked Witch got her famous witch’s hat or how the Lion, Scarecrow, and Tin Man came to be. And I won’t tell how it’s done, but it is breathtaking to see Elphaba fly at the end of Act One in one of the most well-known songs of the show, “Defying Gravity.” – Jill Siekman of Broadwayworld.com Dayton

“Although the more iconic elements of the Oz landscape are not addressed until Act 2, a slight conceptual hindrance, you’re bound to enjoy the unique history of the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the North in this darker, deeper context. Having witnessed “Wicked” eight times from the Broadway original to the West End to numerous national tours, I can honestly say this production is among the best. Don’t miss it!” – Russell Florence, Jr. of Dayton Most Metro
