The Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort lauderdale plays host to Wicked, the Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, from February 14 through March 4, 2018.
When Dorothy Gale first came to the land of Oz, Glinda the Good, asked her, “Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?” The same can be said of Elphaba — the so called Wicked Witch of the West. This ground breaking musical based on the books by both Frank L. Baum and Gregory Maguire is set in the wonderful world of Oz before the tornado brought a little girl and her dog on their journey down the yellow brick road. Who is Elphaba and why is she so desperately after those jewelled shoes? Find out in Wicked, the musical that blurs the lines between good and bad.
The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.
