Wicked Montreal | Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall

The Tony Award winning musical ‘Wicked’ flies up north to Montreal this summer for a month-long run at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall of the Place Des Arts from August 1 to 26, 2012.

Featuring a cleverly written back story to the tale of ‘Wizard of Oz’, ‘Wicked’ takes us back in time to learn more about the beloved yet infamous witches of Oz, Glinda the Good Witch of the North and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West, back to their time in Munchkinland where they spent their childhood and early adulthood years fending off constant comparisons between them from their peers and people in their community that sparked a protracted rivalry between them and shaped each of their personalities and perspectives, which in turn, affected their futures as they realized and fulfilled their fascinatingly wicked destinies. The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.
