Wicked Syracuse | Landmark Theatre

Wicked Syracuse | Landmark Theatre

Wicked, hailed by Entertainment Weekly as the decade’s “best musical,” is set to enchant its Syracuse audience at the Landmark Theatre from November 28, 2012 to December 9, 2012.

Gaining superstar status after breaking box office records and taking home many awards, Wicked is currently on its US tour. This musical Broadway production presents an alternative perspective at the well-loved tale from L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and tells the story of the unforgettable witches in the Land of Oz. Wicked clearly illustrates that in every story, there is always more than one side. Told with remarkable music, exceptional dance sequences, and wonderful stage design, Wicked is indeed one must-see Broadway production.

Catch the breathtaking performances of Wicked at the Landmark Theatre at 7:30 from Tuesday to Thursday and at 8 PM every Friday. The show times on weekends are at 2 PM and 8 PM every Saturday and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM every Sunday. The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.

“And what a musical it is. Unlike other recent shows that have few memorable melodies (for instance, last season’s Famous Artists offering The Young Frankenstein), nearly every song in Wicked is a showstopper.” – Laurel Saiz of CNY Café Momus

“In the national tour of the musical Wicked, which runs at the Landmark Theatre through Dec. 9, Christine Dwyer plays Elphaba and Jeanna de Waal plays Glinda. These women prove just how well pink and green actually do go together. They portray the best friendship of the witches of Oz so well that their relationship is elevated to the level of sisterhood.” – Paige Cooperstein of Green Room Reviews
