Noblemen and commoners alike, make way for the newest Broadway sensation! A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, the hilarious new musical that won as Best Musical in the 2014 Tony Awards, is coming to Tampa to open the exciting 2015-2016 Broadway Series of The Straz Center. Opening on October 20, 2015, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder takes center stage at the Carol Morsani Hall until October 25, 2015.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder is the uproarious and smash hit musical that earned raves and acclaim on the Great White Way. Monty Navarro is a penniless young clerk when he learns that he is a distant heir to the D’Ysquith family fortune. Ninth in line to becoming the Earl of Highhurst, he sets out to, by any means necessary, jump the long line of succession and evade landing behind bars. As Monty murders his way to the title and inheritance, he has to juggle his mistress, his fiancée, and the of ever present threat of getting caught.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder will have Tampa dying with laughter as it plays the Carol Morsani Hall on October 20 to 22 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on October 23 (Friday) at 8 PM, on October 24 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on October 25 (Sunday) at 2 PM and 7:30 PM. The Thursday performance will be Sign Language Interpreted. A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder runs for 160 minutes.
