Leapin’ lizards! Annie, the beloved theater classic inspired by the popular comic series Little Orphan Annie, is set to jumpstart the exciting 2014-2015 season of PNC Broadway Across America. Opening on October 28, Annie will be at the Benedum Center for eight performances only closing November 2, 2014.
Since its 1977 Broadway debut, Annie has captured the hearts of millions of people all over the world. This revival of the well-loved musical is the classic incarnation of the unforgettable tale of an orphan girl with freckles and red curls. Directed by Martin Charnin, Annie features delightful songs like “Tomorrow,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” “Easy Street,” and “It’s A Hard Knock Life.”
Don’t miss Annie as it plays the Benedum Center on October 28 to 30 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on October 31 (Friday) at 8:00 PM, on November 1 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on November 2 (Sunday) at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
