Dirty Dancing, the record-breaking musical that has been captivating theatregoers around the world since its Australian world premiere in 2004, dances its way to Jacksonville this fall! Opening on December 9, 2014, Dirty Dancing will be at the Moran Theatre Times Union Center for the 2014-2015 season of Broadway in Jacksonville until December 14.

Based on the acclaimed and smash hit movie by the same name, Dirty Dancing breathes exciting new life into the memorable coming-of-age tale of 17-year-old Baby Houseman. Set in 1963, Baby meets dance instructor Johnny Castle while on a summer holiday in the Catskill Mountains with her family. A worldwide stage phenomenon, Dirty Dancing brims over with fantastic dancing, sexy scenes, and passionate romance. Dirty Dancing features unforgettable classic songs like “Hey Baby,” “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” and “Hungry Eyes.”

Experience the excitement as Dirty Dancing plays the Moran Theatre Times Union Center on December 9 to 11 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on December 12 (Friday) at 8 PM, on December 13 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on December 14 (Sunday) at 1:30 PM and 7 PM. With one 15-minute intermission, every Dirty Dancing show runs for 150 minutes.
