Evita Durham | Durham Performing Arts Center

A stunning blockbuster from the Great White Way is coming back to Durham for the 2013-2014 season of the Sun Trust Broadway at DPAC. Evita, the much-admired and acclaimed Broadway musical from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, has an eight-performance engagement at the Durham Performing Arts Center on March 11 through 16, 2014.

Giving life to the unforgettable life story of Eva Peron on DPAC stage, Evita is the powerful and captivating production that features an impressive score that includes “High Flying Adored,” “You Must Love Me,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” “Buenos Aires,” and “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.” In Evita, behold Eva’s dramatic rise from the slums to the halls of power when she became the adored First Lady of the Argentine Republic.

Don’t miss this stunning performances of Evita as it runs at the Durham Performing Arts Center on weeknights of March 11 to 13 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7 PM and on March 14 (Friday) at 8 PM. The weekend shows are at 2 PM and 8 PM on March 15 (Saturday) and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on March 16 (Sunday).
