Witness Eva Duarte Peron’s astonishing ascent to power from the slums to the Casa Rosada as Evita visits Providence this fall to open the thrilling 2013 – 2014 season of The Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series! Opening on September 8, 2013, Evita has its eight-performance engagement at the Providence Performing Arts Center until September 14, 2013.

Evita retells the amazingly extraordinary story of a woman who made a mark in the history of Latin America and of the world. With outsized ambition, Eva Duarte Peron made full use of her talents, beauty, charisma, and smarts to meteorically rise in society – economically, socially, and politically. Evita is sure to captivate Providence with its remarkable tale, stunning choreography, and beautiful musical score.

Catch the powerful and moving performances of Evita as it opens at the Providence Performing Arts Center on September 7 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. There are also performances on September 10 and 11 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at 7 PM, on September 12 and 13 (Thursday and Friday) at 7:30 PM, and on September 14 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM.
